Insyde® Software Selected by Intel for Next-Generation Desktop BIOS

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Insyde Software, an Intel Capital portfolio company and leading provider of Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) BIOS, today announced an agreement with Intel’s Client Board Division (ICBD) for joint BIOS development.

Under this arrangement, Insyde will work closely with Intel’s Client BIOS development organization to provide a range of engineering services to help deploy the new EDK II BIOS for Intel Desktop motherboards. In addition, Insyde’s engineering team will provide integration of key Intel technologies, assure compliance with logo certification programs and perform platform porting and debugging services.
