SEATTLE--()--Azaleos® Corporation, the global private cloud services company for managed Exchange, managed SharePoint, managed Lync and managed AirWatch MDM, today announced that it has exceeded the 1 million seats under management milestone and is again posting record growth for the calendar year to date. The company closed several marquee large enterprise deals in the first half of the year for its Exchange, SharePoint and Lync services including the largest hospital in America and a global tele-communications equipment manufacturer.
“Our vision of combining IT managed services with a private cloud delivery model continues to satisfy a large and growing unmet need among security conscious enterprises”
With the Microsoft Server 2013 wave just around the corner, Azaleos also migrated existing customers and signed up new customers for its Microsoft 2010 messaging, collaboration and unified communications services. These 2010 investments will help enterprises simplify the transition to Microsoft Exchange 2013, SharePoint 2013 and Lync 2013 when they reach maturity.

“Our vision of combining IT managed services with a private cloud delivery model continues to satisfy a large and growing unmet need among security conscious enterprises,” said Phil Van Etten, CEO of Azaleos.
“Specifically, Azaleos’ ability to implement a private cloud infrastructure that securely integrates with existing premise based applications and processes, and can be customized as much as needed, are key selling points for large enterprises. Public cloud alternatives do not support these requirements,” he added.
“Lastly, forward thinking CIOs choose Azaleos because we consistently demonstrate a much deeper level of expertise with the Microsoft unified communication and collaboration platforms than competing vendors in their evaluations,” concluded Van Etten.
Technical and Services Innovation
Azaleos has achieved and maintained its position as a leader and innovator in managed services through aggressive investments in research and development and new services. The company was first to remotely manage iPhones, first to offer a fully managed virtualized Exchange environment, and first to offer a true Hybrid UC solution for companies that want to combine on-premise and public cloud infrastructures.
Azaleos is also an official Microsoft TAP (technology adoption partner) for Exchange and SharePoint and has been testing the new server 2013 wave releases since late last year. As a result, Azaleos Managed Services for Exchange 2013, SharePoint 2013 and Lync 2013 (including full support for Lync Enterprise Voice and Skype federation) will be available as soon as the new Microsoft platforms are released. Later this month, Azaleos will demonstrate its forthcoming Managed Exchange services for Exchange 2013 at MEC (Microsoft Exchange Conference) in Orlando.
Most recently, the company introduced its Azaleos Managed Mobile Device Management (MDM) Service which enables enterprises to centrally secure and control all leading mobile devices, including employee owned smartphones and tablets. This cloud-based service, which is offered in both private and public cloud options, addresses the security, compliance and cost challenges of managing mobile devices. The Azaleos Managed MDM service is based on technology from market leading MDM provider AirWatch and provides proactive 24x7 monitoring and management of company-issued and employee-owned mobile devices.
