MINNEAPOLIS--()--For the sixth consecutive year, Carlson has been named one of America’s top 100 adoption-friendly companies, winning a spot on the 2012 Best Adoption-Friendly Workplaces List released Sept. 10 by the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. Carlson also again earned the number one ranking in the hospitality and travel industry category.
“Carlson’s industry-leading adoption benefits align with our Ambition 2015 goal of becoming the number one hospitality and travel company to work for”
Carlson’s award-winning adoption benefits provide up to six weeks of paid leave per adoption and up to USD 5,000. Our adoption package also includes a comprehensive assistance program that helps employees locate adoption resources, counseling services and support groups.
“Carlson’s industry-leading adoption benefits align with our Ambition 2015 goal of becoming the number one hospitality and travel company to work for,” said Elizabeth Bastoni, executive vice president, Chief Human Resources and Communications officer, for Carlson. “Carlson’s family-centered culture is exemplified in our benefit plans which, among other things, help adoptive families realize their parenting dreams through our adoption resources and incentives.”
The release of the sixth annual Best Adoption-Friendly Workplaces List helps the Foundation increase foster care adoption awareness, while celebrating businesses that support adoptive families. Rankings are determined by an analysis of a company’s adoption benefits available to employees, such as financial reimbursement and paid leave. The Foundation compiled results from its annual survey of U.S. employers and partnered with Employee Benefit News—a SourceMedia publication providing information to benefits executives—to announce the winners.
In addition to ranking the top 100, the Foundation also recognized the top 10 by size and the leaders of each industry. To view all of the honorees, visit www.DaveThomasFoundation.org.
