BERWYN, Pa.--()--Styron, the leading global materials company established in June 2010, today announced the appointment of Ralph A. Than as Vice President and Treasurer of Styron effective September 24, 2012. He will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Than joins Styron from Dana Holding Corporation (NYSE:DANA), a global leading supplier of power technology products, where he has served as Vice President and Treasurer since 2009. From 2004 to 2008, he was VP Finance and Treasurer of Owens Corning, a market leading innovator of building materials and fiber-glass technology. From 2000 to 2003, he served as Senior VP and Treasurer of Metris Companies, Inc, a $12 billion consumer financial services firm.

Than holds a Masters in Business Administration from Marquette University and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Applied Computer Science and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin.
He will be located at Styron’s global operating center in Berwyn, PA.
