ALEXANDRIA, Va.--()--Martin, Blanck & Associates, a federal health services consulting practice, announces the addition of Dr. Charles Bruce Green, as Vice Chairman and a Senior Partner.

Prior to joining Martin, Blanck & Associates, Dr. Green had a distinguished 34-year career in public service as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force. His final three years, from August 2009 to July 2012, were spent as the United States Air Force Surgeon General, leading over 45,000 medical professionals in the Air Force Medical Service, overseeing a $6.3B annual budget, and executing worldwide medical operations. He also served as co-chair for Department of Defense’s Recovering Warrior Task Force for the last two years.
Dr. Green also has over 20 years of experience providing direct patient care and commanded hospitals at Lajes AB, Azores, Mountain Home AFB, ID, Eglin AFB, FL, and Wilford Hall Medical Center, TX, where he oversaw finances, quality care, readiness, human resources, and multiple residency training programs. He led multiple award winning teams identified as best in the USAF. Dr. Green held the rank of Lieutenant General upon his retirement of July 2012.
