Private Ocean’s Alex Gangl Adds CFA to CFP Designation

Private Ocean advisor Alex Gangl has received the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation. Gangl also holds the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), making him one of approximately 2,500 people worldwide who hold both certifications. To earn the CFA certification, financial professionals must complete 1,000 hours of study and three six-hour exams. The process typically takes four years. The CFP certification requires 1,000 hours of study and exam preparation, and one ten-hour exam administered over a two-day period.
