Two enterprise iPad application demos and panel participation at mobile development conference

MoDevTablet 2012 is a mobile development conference about keeping pace in the Tablet era. Acumen Solutions, also a gold sponsor of the event, will demo two native, custom iPad applications developed for clients, and participate in a leading panel session.

The MoDevTablet 2012 conference highlights the latest Tablet devices and the best methods for developing and marketing native, web, and hybrid applications. Over 400 developers, designers and digital media professionals have registered to attend the three-day event.

  Acumen Solutions is developing a native, custom iPad application for a federal government office, slated for completion this month. This is the first custom iPad application integrated with the Force.com platform built for the Federal Government. A partner of the agency since 2008, Acumen Solutions created a proprietary Financial Information and Management System on the Force.com platform. The agency now seeks to improve the tools and information available to their project managers while working overseas. The iPad application, developed by Acumen Solutions, will allow agency project managers to access data and documents while overseas, view financial information, project documents, and capture project and trip information, images, GPS coordinates, and e-signatures.

This panel will showcase senior government officials and enterprise experts who are in the process of launching Tablet applications. The discussion will focus on lessons learned during the projects and the panelists will predict how mobile applications will meet the needs of the rapidly growing government and enterprise markets.
