“GTSO is committed to implementing ideas both old and new as we grow,” said GTSO CEO Paul Watson. “The first half of our mission is the traditional mining of tungsten and other valuable metals in mineral-rich regions from Ghana, North America to Chile. Alongside our joint venture partners, Diamond V Associates, we’re already hard at work recovering and analyzing core samples from around the world to identify the most promising mining properties to deliver maximum returns to our shareholders.

“But we’re focusing just as much energy and attention on the new era of mineral recovery—urban mining,” Watson said. “We’re currently pushing forward with negotiations to acquire and/or partner with e-waste recyclers in the U.S., Chile and potentially Africa. We see billion-dollar growth ahead for the urban mining industry, and we’re positioning our company to capitalize on its rise.”

GTSO believes these two synergistic mining strategies are the key to a sustainable future for the manufacturers and consumers of high-tech electronic devices including the Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) iPad and iPhone.
