WESTMINSTER, Calif.--()--ValuSoft Cosmi, the 30-year value software pioneer, today announces a major new release of MasterCook planned for spring 2013. MasterCook is the acclaimed cookbook/recipe management software, recently purchased by ValuSoft Cosmi. Plans for this star title include new information, support and a registration website launching today.
“As a family-owned business, we the partners at ValuSoft Cosmi, intend to play an active role in the development of the next generation of MasterCook software. In fact, our families have been using the program ourselves for the past several years”
MasterCook was originally developed by Arion software in 1992 and quickly became America’s favorite cooking software. More than a recipe management system, MasterCook’s expertise for creating, importing and sharing cookbooks is what sets the program apart. The new version improves overall stability, adds the ability to import and export images with MX2 files, and introduces an improved web import toolbar to make the program even easier to use.
The new MasterCook Website, www.mastercook.com, is where users can now register the current Version 11 of the program, explore support options, and be among the first to know when the new version will release this spring.
“As a family-owned business, we the partners at ValuSoft Cosmi, intend to play an active role in the development of the next generation of MasterCook software. In fact, our families have been using the program ourselves for the past several years,” says Edward Lanchantin, CEO of ValuSoft Cosmi.
Part of that new commitment includes an expanded support team headed by brand advocates, Pam Erickson and John Shotsky, both of whom have provided support for the program since 1999 and are now official members of the MasterCook development team.
