DynCorp International Awarded Contract Valued at up to $36 Million to Provide Jet Engine Maintenance for J-85 Aircraft

FALLS CHURCH, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DynCorp International (DI) today announced that it has been awarded a contract with the U.S. Air Force Air Education and Training Command (AETC) to provide jet engine maintenance for J-85 aircraft at Laughlin Air Force Base (AFB), Texas, in support of the Engine Regional Repair Center (ERRC).

DI will provide J-85 jet engine intermediate maintenance functions required to support AETC requirements for the Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT), Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training (SUPT), Euro NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT), Pilot Instructor Training (PIT), and Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals (IFF) missions.

The competitively-awarded, firm-fixed-price contract has an 11-month base period with five, one-year options and a total contract value of $36 million if all options are exercised.
