Both sessions will illustrate how processors optimized for network, flow and security workloads are essential to meet the complex requirements of the two fastest-growing and most-demanding networking applications.
Netronome’s senior director of strategic marketing, Nabil Damouny, will present in two sessions:
“OpenFlow: Up in the Clouds” at 10 a.m.
This discussion, in conjunction with the Open Networking Foundation (ONF), will focus on the use of flow processors to enable software defined networking in OpenFlow-based public, private or hybrid clouds in order to scale designs to support millions of simultaneous flows without degrading performance in 10, 40 and 100 gigabit Ethernet designs.
“Flow Processing in 40/100G LTE Applications” at 2 p.m.
The increasing amounts of users and multimedia applications on wireless devices are driving the need for flow processing to intelligently route traffic in wireless networks. A reference architecture will be discussed for 40/100G LTE gateways that use flow processing alongside an x86-based processor.
Both sessions will feature designs based on Netronome’s NFP-32xx flow processors.
