MINNEAPOLIS--()--ApeniMED, a leader in healthcare interoperability and Nationwide Health Information Network (NwHIN) connectivity, today announced the appointment of Duane Kullberg to its Board of Directors. Kullberg will provide his expertise to help grow the financial and clinical product sales at ApeniMED as well as advise on fundraising, strategic acquisitions, investor relations, and similar matters. Kullberg joins Chuck Neerland, Dan Bryant, Barb Stinnett and CEO John Fraser on the Board.

Prior to joining the ApeniMED Board of Directors, Kullberg served as CEO and Managing Partner of Arthur Andersen & Co. from 1980 until 1989. He currently serves on a number of boards, including the Chicago Board Options Exchange and Artio Global Investors, Inc., with previous board experience on several private and public company boards. Kullberg is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors, the Commercial Club of Chicago, and a Life Trustee of Northwestern University and the University of Minnesota Foundation.
Kullberg holds a B.B.A. degree, with honors, from the University of Minnesota.
