SAN MATEO, Calif.--()--Vendio announced its Fall Seller Release 2012, with five new software features designed for small business owners to increase their revenue, their profits and to build stronger customer relationships. From Vendio’s Spring 2012 Survey, sellers clearly want to save money, save time and have added control over their items on the two biggest marketplaces, eBay and Amazon. This release saves money with discounted USPS postage, saves time with Amazon FBA and catalog match and publish, and improves control with enhanced inventory sharing across marketplaces and online stores.
“The Vendio Mobile Scrolling Gallery is a big part of that.”
The Vendio Fall 2012 Seller Release includes:
- Enhanced Inventory Sharing: When an item is purchased, the inventory quantity automatically adjusts across selling channels.
- FBA Support: Manage inventory simultaneously from the Vendio interface wherever items are listed.
- Enhanced Amazon Match and Publish: Match items from eBay, an online store, or from a spreadsheet to the Amazon catalog in bulk and publish them at web speed.
- Discounted USPS Postage and Integrated Label Printing: Purchase discounted postage, print labels, insure packages, communicate tracking numbers to buyers, and automatically sync with eBay and Amazon.
- Mobile Optimized Scrolling Gallery: This is the FIRST scrolling gallery that is automatically optimized to render on mobile phones and hand-held devices and tablets.
Vendio reduces costs for sellers with enhanced inventory sharing, the ability to sell the same product on multiple-channels. Sellers no longer have to buy more inventory than they need in order to reserve those items for sale on eBay, Amazon or their own store. This time-saving feature frees sellers from having to manually pull items down as they sell. With enhanced inventory sharing, Vendio sellers effectively triple their exposure by having ALL their items available on ALL their markets ALL the time.
"Today's most successful merchants ensure they promote their products to consumers wherever and whenever they shop online,” said Mike Effle, CEO of Vendio. “Vendio's fall release enhances seller profitability by simultaneously offering products across a seller's website, eBay, Amazon, and Facebook. Further, our Rules Engine takes product offers down automatically when no more quantity is available to prevent unintentional overselling, thereby increasing buyer satisfaction and improving buyer feedback."
Vendio supports Fulfillment by Amazon, or FBA (pre-positioning inventory at an Amazon warehouse). This gives sellers control of the fulfillment method that makes the most sense to them on an item-by-item basis. Sellers can view their Amazon FBA inventory alongside their Amazon fulfilled by merchant inventory, eBay, eBay Motors, Facebook and their online store inventory. Sellers no longer have to manually go into each of their channels to view inventory and manage re-ordering.
Vendio’s Amazon Catalog Match and Publish provides a one-step mechanism for sellers to move inventory into the Amazon marketplace. Whether the inventory resides on a spreadsheet, or on eBay or in Vendio, a seller can bulk match items to the Amazon catalog, make pricing or condition changes as needed, and bulk publish them to the Amazon marketplace.
With integrated USPS postage and label printing, sellers have the ability to buy discounted postage and print shipping labels directly from Vendio. Merchants will be able to purchase postage, print labels, insure packages, communicate tracking numbers to buyers, and automatically sync this information with eBay and Amazon - all in one interface.
The wildly popular Vendio scrolling gallery for eBay listings is now optimized for mobile commerce. With 15-20 percent of eBay buyers using mobile devices to browse or shop for items, this enhances Vendio seller’s opportunity to increase profits through mobile sales. “Our goal was to make the eBay buying experience on a mobile device as good as it is on your computer monitor,” said Greg McNutt, CTO of Vendio. “The Vendio Mobile Scrolling Gallery is a big part of that.”
“Vendio is committed to helping our merchants optimize their online sales with this release for a truly abundant 2012 holiday selling season,” Effle said. “With these enhancements and NEW features, sellers will ALSO be able to implement successful strategies for the upcoming year.”
