MINNEAPOLIS--()--Capella University (http://www.capella.edu), an accredited online university* that has built its reputation by providing high quality online degree programs for working adults, is partnering with the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) to host a volunteer event on Saturday, Sept. 22. From 12:45 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Capella students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends will be sorting food with the goal to get thousands of pounds of food to those who need it most.
NTFB is a nonprofit hunger relief organization and member of Feeding America, which supports the nutritional needs of children, families and seniors through education, advocacy and strategic partnerships.
This is one of several volunteer events that Capella has hosted to help those less fortunate. Past events have taken place in locations such as Charlotte, San Francisco, New York, Atlanta, and Seattle.
