NOVI, Mich.--()--MTU, a Tognum Group brand, will exhibit its industry-leading portfolio of EPA Tier 4 final diesel engines for the mining industry at MINExpo International 2012, which will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, Sept. 24-26. The MTU exhibit will be located in the Central Hall of the convention center, in booth no. 8401.
MTU will kick off MINExpo by unveiling its Tier 4 final technology in a booth event on the morning of Sept. 24, which will include a presentation by Scott Woodruff, head of global mining sales, and his team of mining experts.
MTU mining engines achieve EPA Tier 4 final emission standards with no aftertreatment above 560 kW (750 bhp) and no diesel particulate filter at any bhp. MTU’s exhibit at MINExpo will be the first public display of this innovative engine technology for mining applications.
MINExpo 2012 attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about MTU ValueCare, a suite of dedicated service and support offerings for MTU products that includes parts and service solutions such as remote monitoring, maintenance contracts and remanufactured products.
MTU engines for haul trucks, wheel loaders, excavators, drilling rigs and underground mining equipment are designed for minimal downtime and long time-between-overhaul intervals and are optimized for low emissions.
