MINNEAPOLIS--()--ABILITY Network Inc®, the nation’s largest and most secure web-based health network, announced David Fusari has joined the organization as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. In this key strategic executive position, Mr. Fusari will oversee the Company’s continued commitment to innovation in broadening its healthcare platform to enrich administrative workflows with nuggets of clinical content, enabling ABILITY’s providers to deliver better care through innovation and technology that ultimately improves access, quality and overall cost, enhancing the patient experience.

Mr. Fusari brings more than 20 years of experience architecting, evangelizing and delivering high quality complex information systems for healthcare and financial services industries. Prior to joining ABILITY, he served as Principal Architect for Microsoft Healthcare Solutions Group. Prior to the acquisition by Microsoft, he was the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Sentillion with the responsibility for both vision and leadership of Sentillion's solution suite. Fusari has held a variety of architecture, management, and development roles, including key engineering roles at Hewlett Packard's Medical Products Group and with Aetna. Throughout his stellar career, Mr. Fusari has successfully engaged in methodologies that provide strategic growth opportunities.
Mr. Fusari is building unrivaled engineering and product management teams to provide exceptional and quick-to-market delivery that exceeds customer expectations through application consistency, reliability and user-experience.
Mr. Fusari is a recognized industry leader and has been an active member of the Health Level Seven (HL7) since 1997 and acted as the co-chair of the CCOW technical committee, during which time he contributed to the development of multiple versions of the standard. Mr. Fusari has 13 patents and numerous other patents pending and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Bryant College.
