NEW YORK--()--Independent executive compensation consultancy Pearl Meyer & Partners announced today that Hal Wallach has joined the firm’s Chicago Office as a Managing Director, and will be located in St. Louis.

Mr. Wallach brings to the firm more than 25 years of experience in advising global public and private companies on executive compensation strategy and design, talent and succession management, non-employee director compensation design and corporate governance issues. He has also worked extensively with companies experiencing mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings and bankruptcy. He has worked in a range of industries including chemical, consumer goods, defense, energy, retail, telecommunications and transportation.

Prior to joining PM&P, Mr. Wallach was a partner and senior client manager with Mercer in St. Louis. In addition to his consulting experience, he served as Senior Vice President - Human Resources for a global specialty chemicals company with responsibility for the global HR function.
Mr. Wallach has served as an adjunct professor at Washington University in St. Louis, where he taught an MBA-level class on executive compensation. He holds a B.S. from the University of Nebraska and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
