LOS ANGELES--()--In a first-time partnership between the leaders in 3D and HSN, the International 3D Society & 3D@Home Consortium will partner with HSN for a 24-hour 3D products spotlight to be aired on the network Sunday, September 23rd. Live segments featuring HSN talent and 3D Society experts will share what’s available and what’s coming in 3D to consumers during the holiday shopping season.

“With sports, music, educational programming and more than 100 3D Blu-Ray titles available… 3DTV offers consumers a premium experience,” said Tom Cosgrove, CEO of 3net and Co-Chair of the International 3D Society & 3D@Home Consortium. “This is a fun way to take HSN’s viewers behind the scenes to see what’s available now, and what’s coming in 3D.”
Six LIVE segments will be aired from midnight Saturday until 11 p.m. Sunday. Society moviemakers, producers, and special guests, including: ‘Avatar’ and ‘Titanic 3D’ Producer, Jon Landau, and National Geographic Cinema Ventures President, Lisa Truitt, will call in LIVE to talk about their current and future 3D projects.
The segments will also spotlight a 3DTV product during HSN’s viewer favorite “Today’s Special.” 3D movie and television producer, Buzz Hays, and Society Vice-President, Operations & Awards, Nick Urbom, will be on-set with HSN talent showcasing 3D movies, programs and games currently available or “Coming Soon” to 3DTV owners.
