COLUMBIA, Md.--()--Tecore Networks, the inventor of Managed Access technology and a global supplier of 2G, 3G, and 4G mobile network infrastructure, announced today the expansion of its Government Services Division, which includes the key addition of former Mississippi State Department of Corrections Investigations Director, Kenneth North, as Vice President of Government Services. Kenneth brings over 27 years of law enforcement experience, which includes over two years of direct operational experience with the Managed Access System. This system controlled the contraband cell phone problems in one of the largest state prison in the country.
Prior to joining Tecore, Mr. North was the Director of the Corrections Investigation Division at the Mississippi Department of Corrections in Jackson, MS. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Southern Mississippi. Mr. North’s experience includes managing statewide operations for several Investigative Offices. He was responsible for overseeing all criminal and administrative investigations for the Mississippi Department of Corrections, as well as the four offices at the Corrections Investigation Division’s (CID). He also managed three of the Department’s Security Threat Group Management Units (STGMU), the Electronic Surveillance Operation Center (ESOC) at the Mississippi State Penitentiary, the Inmate Telephone System at twenty-four facilities, and the Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (FAST).
