FLANDERS, N.J.--()--Long-time Internet streaming vendor and pioneer, SurferNETWORK, announces its sponsorship and participation in the annual International Broadcasters IdeaBank (ideabank.org) conference starting October 7th in New Orleans.
IdeaBank is an organization of owners and managers of commercial radio stations. Their members represent 450 stations, mostly in the USA, but several in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
SurferNETWORK (www.surfernetwork.com) is the holder of several key patents related to the streaming media industry, and was a pioneer in bringing advanced technology and industrial-strength streaming to the radio broadcasting industry.
At IdeaBank, SurferNETWORK will be introducing the first of several stages of new products and features based on several portfolios of patent applications recently filed by SurferNETWORK. According to a spokesman, SurferNETWORK expects that it may eventually file dozens more, and perhaps as many as one hundred patent applications surrounding these new areas of technology.
Asked about the impact on the streaming industry, company president, Mr. William Grywalski, said, “SurferNETWORK has always been a leader in streaming, and these new technologies will again confirm that position. We expect that these new features will be useful and valuable, and since they will only be available from SurferNETWORK we anticipate that there will be substantial changes in the makeup of this industry.”
According to company founder, Mr. Harry Emerson, “These new technologies will demonstrate that SurferNETWORK is the innovator and intellectual leader in the field of Internet radio broadcasting, and will create a clear distinction between SurferNETWORK and other companies in the industry. We believe that these new technologies will be revolutionary and will fundamentally change the industry. Stay tuned.”
