SAN FRANCISCO--()--Business Wire today announced that Ranzo Taylor has been promoted to vice president, global data operations.
“Ranzo is the 007 of our Database and Web systems team”
In his new position, Taylor takes a leading role in overall software and hardware architectural decisions as well as promoting agile software methodologies. Additionally, Taylor created a new performance and reliability support department for the varied web-based server systems at Business Wire.
Taylor graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He currently lives in Berkeley, Calif., with his family. In his spare time he enjoys playing guitar, hiking, taking long strolls and spending time with his children.
