Scott Foster Joins Barney & Barney in San Francisco

Expanding Team in Bay Area Adds Experienced Producer

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Barney & Barney, one of the nation’s largest independent insurance brokerages, today announced that Scott Foster, an insurance brokerage executive with eight years of experience, has joined Barney & Barney in San Francisco.

Foster will work with a team of Barney & Barney professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area, offering commercial property and casualty insurance, employee benefits, workers compensation, compensation consulting, executive liability, personal lines and surety.

In June, Barney & Barney expanded its Northern California operations with the opening of a San Francisco office at One Market Street in Steuart Tower. The San Francisco office currently has five employees and expects to add 20 employees over the next few years. Barney & Barney’s San Francisco and Oakland offices specialize in working with clients in technology, life science, and healthcare, as well as a wide range of professional services firms.

Foster joined Barney & Barney from Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., where he was Area Vice President. Prior to that, he worked for Chubb as a Senior Underwriter and Argo Insurance Group as a Broker. Foster earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
