BevMo! Opens New Store in Chula Vista

Opening weekend festivities include tastings of wine, beer and gourmet food; First 500 shoppers in line before 9 a.m. to receive goody bag valued at $50

CHULA VISTA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BevMo! the ultimate neighborhood specialty beverage retailer, will open its newest San Diego area store in Chula Vista located at 2237 Otay Lakes Road next to Lowe’s, on Friday, September 28 at 9 a.m. As the 122 BevMo! serving California, Arizona and Washington, the new 7,500 square foot location will feature a selection of more than 1,800 wines, 1,600 spirits, 1,800 beers and hundreds of gourmet food items, cocktail mixers, glassware, bar accessories and more.

There will be in-store events and demonstrations on opening day and throughout the weekend, including tastings from popular brewers and vineyards like Wilson Creek Winery, Sextant Wines, Fratelli Wines, Stone Brewing, Green Flash Brewing and Coronado Brewery. In-store demonstrations from major spirit brands such as Grey Goose, Jack Daniels, Skyy and Hornitos will also be available. Customers will be able to learn from BevMo! experts and partners as they share the latest cocktail trends and find out the best wines to serve at your fall dinner parties, events, and special occasions.

For the first time ever, the new store in Chula Vista will offer goody bags valued at $50 to the first 500 lined up before the store opens at 9 a.m. Each goody bag will include a number of fabulous BevMo! specialty items such as a Go Vino wine glasses, TrueTap Corkscrew, gourmet snacks, MIXT White Chocolate Martini Mixer, and coasters! Customers are encouraged to invite friends and family to join them that morning to help reach the 500 count goal.
