Toast BevMo!’s Newest Washington Store as Local Couple Ties the Knot at Grand Opening Celebration

Weekend festivities include Seattle couple’s nuptials on Grand Opening Day; first 500 shoppers toast the new couple and receive complimentary gift bags valued at $50

(Beverages and More), the ultimate specialty beverage retailer, will open its third Washington state location in Tukwila on Friday, September 28 at 9:00 a.m. The new 10,000 square foot store, located at 17197 Southcenter Pkwy, will provide local beverage lovers a selection of thousands of wines, spirits, and beers, as well as scrumptious gourmet food items, cocktail mixers, glassware, bar accessories and more.

To get the party started, BevMo! will host its first-ever wedding ceremony to celebrate the recent launch of BevMo! Weddings in Washington – a personal one-on-one service for planning the very best beverages for that special day. At 8:30 a.m., just before the official ribbon cutting ceremony, local residents Dean Kittelson and Roni Brock will exchange vows in front of friends, family and hundreds of customers as BevMo!’s very own CEO and chief BevMologist, Alan Johnson, presides over the ceremony.

And if that isn’t enough merriment for you, the first 500 customers on Friday morning will each receive a free gift bag valued at over $50 that includes barware, mixers, tasty snacks and their own copy of The Bartender’s Black Book – enough fun in a bag to get their own party started! Immediately following the wedding that morning, all 500 customers in line will raise a glass and toast the happy couple!

The new BevMo! Weddings site officially launches in Washington during a special bridal mixer event at the Tukwila BevMo! store co-hosted by Seattle Bride magazine. The event takes place on Thursday, September 27 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will include local, wedding industry professionals such as Photo Elan, Aria Style, Tiara On Location and Cakes by Crème de la Creme as well as wine tastings from Francis Ford Coppola, Craftwork, Main & Geary, Princesca and Lineas. Couture bridal gown designer, Kirstie Kelly, will also be displaying some of her hottest new bridal gowns for the season. Media are encouraged to attend the Thursday evening event as well.
