BURBANK, Calif.--()--Following the immense success of CorgiCam, THE PET COLLECTIVE today premieres “PuppyCam,” featuring a litter of rescued, mixed-breed pit-bull puppies and an added element for viewers: They can adopt these adorable pups.
“Hope was an ‘owner surrender’ – a woman just dropped off her pregnant dog, who was emaciated and struggling”
To celebrate the launch of “PuppyCam,” THE PET COLLECTIVE will make a donation for each new subscriber to its channel from today through Oct. 31 (up to $20,000).
Since its launch in May 2012, THE PET COLLECTIVE’s programming has been viewed nearly 13 million times. It’s the only pet-themed channel in the top 50 of all YouTube original-content channels.
On “PuppyCam,” every moment in the young lives of a litter of six puppies and their mother will be viewable 24 hours a day, seven days a week. “PuppyCam” can be found online at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuNlenkdfoI.
In conjunction with today’s premiere of “PuppyCam,” every new subscriber to THE PET COLLECTIVE will result in a 25-cent donation to New Leash on Life, the Newhall, Calif., rescue group that is the temporary home for the puppies and their mother, aptly named Hope.
“Hope was an ‘owner surrender’ – a woman just dropped off her pregnant dog, who was emaciated and struggling,” explains “PuppyCam” producer Ryan Kemp. “She had her puppies not long after arriving at the rescue center. They’re all doing well and eager to find a forever home.”
New Leash on Life is accepting applications from viewers interested in adopting Hope or the puppies.
“The exposure from The Pet Collective is priceless and invaluable, both to New Leash on Life and to the entire animal-rescue industry,” said Sean Tanner, managing director of New Leash on Life. “Thanks to The Pet Collective, we’ve already been able to save seven lives.”
Contact information for New Leash on Life is available at the “PuppyCam” page at THE PET COLLECTIVE, which is produced by FremantleMedia, the global company behind such hits as American Idol and The X Factor.
