BOSTON--()--As young people prepare to enter the toughest job market this country has seen in decades, the Fullbridge Program is teaming up with Experience.com and ConnectEDU to give qualified students and recent graduates a leg up by connecting with career placement opportunities.
“Training and development programs that are mapped to actual job opportunities and projected market trends are essential to close the unemployment gap.”
The Fullbridge Program, a rigorous business skill development program designed to equip students and recent graduates with the tools and confidence to succeed in the workplace, has partnered with Experience.com and ConnectEDU, which have a shared network that includes more than 20 million students, 4,000 educational institutions and 130,000 employers to put the best and the brightest of potential employees front and center before prospective employers. Fullbridge Program graduates will get highlighted exposure to this network of 130,000 employers on the lookout for the next generation of talent.
The partners will also engage in deep dive surveys of both employers and future employees to provide further guidance and market research. Together, they will identify the skills employers seek and the characteristics in employees they desire and will provide relevant information to students that will help optimize their educational plans, their pre-workforce development and post-collegiate employment opportunities.
The partnership combines Fullbridge’s skill and career development with the network of Experience.com and ConnectEDU, which provides students and job seekers with a multitude of job-related resources including internship opportunities, job openings and employment preparation. It also allows employers to weigh in on the skills they seek in prospective new hires. Current students can use the network to plan their academic choices based on their career choices, as the input from employers guides their education decisions. The network has been shown to improve post-college job placement.
“Optimum job placement for ambitious students is a top priority for the Fullbridge Program,” said Stuart Goldfarb, Fullbridge’s President. “This partnership will allow us to better position our graduates for the workforce, will put them in front of key employers and will more importantly let those employers know that our graduates are poised to succeed in a way that other candidates are not.”
“ConnectEDU is focused on creating a talent development pipeline that ensures students have the right skills to get jobs,” said Craig Powell, ConnectEDU’s CEO. “Training and development programs that are mapped to actual job opportunities and projected market trends are essential to close the unemployment gap.”
