ikaSystems Appoints Philip J. Spinelli as Senior Vice President of Sales

SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass.--()--ikaSystems, a premier provider of enterprise, web-based core administrative solutions for the healthcare payer market, today announced that Philip J. Spinelli has joined the company’s executive team as Senior Vice President of Sales. Spinelli brings with him more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience, including an extensive healthcare payer technology background. At ikaSystems, he will be responsible for guiding the sales organization as the company continues its rapid growth. Spinelli has held a number of executive leadership positions in the healthcare industry, successfully overseeing sales, delivery and strategic business growth.

Before joining ikaSystems, Spinelli worked as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Amisys Synertech (ASI), which was acquired by DST Health Solutions. Prior to his work with ASI and DST he held a variety of senior sales and operational positions across the technology and healthcare industries, including experience at CareTech Solutions and Electronic Data Systems (EDS).
