PHILADELPHIA--()--Revitas today announced the official schedule for its Revitas Industry Summit: Life Sciences, the premier industry event on Enterprise Revenue Dynamics (ERD) for pharmaceutical and medical device companies, being held Oct. 2-3 at the Four Seasons Philadelphia. The event features two keynote sessions, as well as a customer panel of executives from top-ranking pharmaceutical companies that will discuss the current trends and issues facing life sciences companies today. A blend of industry-focused thought leadership tracks and user best practice sessions will provide attendees with a forum to discuss common challenges, plan strategies, and identify solutions to effectively streamline contract, pricing, and compliance processes within their organizations.
“While our keynote session will provide an overview of the market, our program tracks will help guide attendees through practical advice, best practices, and solutions to shore up their organization's bottom line through effective management of contracts, pricing, and compliance.”
Revitas’s industry summits focus on the contracting, pricing, and compliance issues facing a single industry to improve enterprise operations and bottom-line results. Headlining this meeting of life sciences minds are two pre-eminent industry experts: Adam J. Fein, Ph.D., Founder and President of Pembroke Consulting Inc. and author of the Drug Channels website, and Dale Hagemeyer, Research Vice President in Gartner's Industry Advisory Services. Dr. Fein will explore the politics and economics of pharmaceutical commerce today. Hagemeyer will provide an in-depth exploration of forces that life sciences companies can't ignore, including environment, capabilities, and competition.
Dr. Fein, in addition to his presentation, will moderate a panel of Revitas customers representing a broad cross-section of life sciences organizations. Together, they will examine the driving forces currently changing the shape of the industry. The panelists, including Christine Ostrowski, Executive Director of Managed Markets Contracting & Operations at Purdue Pharma L.P.; Terence Linehan, VP of U.S. Contract Strategy and Management at Pfizer Inc.; and Mike Borgia, Group Director, Government Channel, at Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems, will speak about addressing industry issues, adapting to changing regulations, and improving contracting and pricing strategies to drive profitability while maintaining commercial and government compliance.
In addition to the keynote speakers, the summit features various session tracks covering business strategy and vision, as well as industry issues around compliance, contracting, and more. Day two of the event opens with a series of hands-on labs to offer attendees the opportunity to test-drive new Revitas solutions, while Product Council discussions will gather input for future product enhancements.
“For this year’s summit, we've gathered some of the top minds in the pharmaceutical industry to provide an inside look at the current trends, legislation, and challenges facing life sciences organizations of every stripe,” said Al Smith, President and Chief Operating Officer at Revitas. “While our keynote session will provide an overview of the market, our program tracks will help guide attendees through practical advice, best practices, and solutions to shore up their organization's bottom line through effective management of contracts, pricing, and compliance.”
