AVRADA, Colo.--()--Colorado Association Services, an Associa company, congratulates Springmeadows Condominium Association for receiving the HindmanSanchez’s Community Can-Can Grant.
“It wouldn’t be possible without the Colorado Association Services team, and we want to send them our sincere thanks for all of their help and support.”
The Community Can-Can Grant awarded annually by HindmanSanchez to a local association that demonstrates a commitment to building community and improving neighborhood connections by using the grant money toward a community-building project.
“We can’t think of a community that is more deserving of this award,” said John Cox, CEO of Colorado Association Services. “We have no doubt that they will put the money to good use and demonstrate a great community-building project.”
Springmeadows was one of six qualified applications for the Can-Can Grant. The community received $1,500, which will go toward replacing the current condominium signage with a slate entrance sign. The Springmeadows homeowners association has planned a community cookout to celebrate the event.
Applications for the grant are judged on thoroughness and how the proposed use of the grant will:
- Connect or bring the residents together, whether through a team project or having a newly beautified gathering place to create opportunities for community connections
- Foster and revitalize the community
- Instill pride in the neighborhood
- Show a group of homeowners, residents and board members can make a different in the community
“Receiving this grant is wonderful news for our community,” said Board President Michelle Wilde. “It wouldn’t be possible without the Colorado Association Services team, and we want to send them our sincere thanks for all of their help and support.”
Colorado Association Services was one of eight teams to participate in this year’s HindmanSanchez Can-Can Canned Food Drive and Sculpture Challenge. The groups collected an estimated 18,400 pounds of food and more than $2,400 in cash donations. Their efforts will enable Food Bank of the Rockies to provide more than 24,000 meals to families across Colorado.
