CIRSE (Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe), which was held in Lisbon, Portugal, September 15-19, 2012, is the world's largest and most prestigious conference in the field of minimally invasive image-guided therapies. Over 6,000 medical professionals from 80 countries attended CIRSE, reflecting the global impact of the rapidly expanding field of interventional radiology.
