All participating providers are evaluated according to FPA’s professional competence, ethical conduct and quality standards. The collaboration with AdviceIQ will help FPA members promote their brands locally, reinforce client relationships and reach new prospects.

Designed to help investors understand and engage the services of a financial advisor, AdviceIQ features financial advisor profiles, as well as advisor contributed personal finance articles and hyper-local advisor rankings that are syndicated through media partners, including Morningstar, The Online Investor, The Motley Fool, the high net worth sites of Penton Media including National Real Estate Investor, Retail Traffic.
To participate in the directory, FPA members must subscribe to AdviceIQ’s proprietary Regulatory Compliance Review (RCR™), an annual audit of each advisor’s regulatory history, and only those advisors without regulatory infractions are included. FPA members will receive a discounted subscription to undergo the RCR™. Once approved, members on the platform will receive:
- Daily exposure to local readers of nationally known websites and publications
- Use of the “AdviceIQ Certified” logo attesting to the advisor’s clean regulatory history
- Ability to submit articles to the editorial staff of AdviceIQ for syndication through media partners
- Free print and electronic reprint rights to contributed content
