CEO Rob Bearden will participate in an executive panel at the CloudCon Expo & Conference, being held October 1 - 3 in San Francisco. VP of Corporate Strategy Shaun Connolly and technical staff member Steve Loughran will each be presenting at the O’Reilly Strata Conference, being held October 1 - 2 in London.

Bearden will join key industry executives from Datameer, Infochimps and Teradata Aster for a panel titled, “Power Panel 1: Big Data Warehouse vs. Enterprise Data Warehouse.” Bearden and the panelists will discuss how traditional enterprise data warehousing is being challenged by newcomers such as Apache Hadoop and whether or not these two very different approaches can co-exist in the enterprise.
