Cigna Launches YouTube Video on Expanded Cigna Dental Oral Health Integration Program Coverage

BLOOMFIELD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Cigna Dental Oral Health Integration Program^® has launched a new video as part of the company’s month-long celebration of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) National Dental Hygiene Month. The video addresses coverage of several high-risk conditions and helps customers understand how good oral health can have a positive impact on overall health.

The program is for people with certain medical conditions that research shows may be impacted by dental care, such as diabetes, heart disease, pregnancy, stroke, chronic kidney disease, organ transplants and head and neck cancer radiation. Plus, the program offers discounts on prescription dental products through Cigna Home Delivery Pharmacy and information about stress and other behavioral conditions that can affect oral health. No other health service company offers a program that integrates dental, pharmacy and behavioral components.
