Carole Yanofsky joins Altegrity as Vice President, Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer

Yanofsky served in senior roles with the Office of Compliance & Risk Management and Office of the General Counsel at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board

FALLS CHURCH, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Altegrity, an industry-leading provider of information and intelligence solutions, announced today that Carole Yanofsky has joined the company as Vice President, Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer. In this role, Yanofsky is responsible for developing and enhancing compliance systems and processes across the Altegrity family of companies. As an attorney and expert in risk management, she will work closely with corporate leadership to support the company’s mission of providing clients with insight that helps mitigate risk, increase compliance and ensure effective corporate governance.

Prior to joining Altegrity, Yanofsky was Director of the Office of Compliance & Risk Management at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). In this role, she was responsible for developing and implementing the Board's compliance and risk management program. Yanofsky previously served as an Assistant General Counsel at the PCAOB, where she advised the Board and all divisions and offices on a wide range of legal and policy issues.

Prior to working at the PCAOB, Yanofsky was a litigation attorney at Zuckerman Speader LLP and London & Mead. She specialized in white-collar criminal and civil enforcement matters, complex commercial litigation and government ethics and compliance matters. She began her career as law clerk to the Honorable Henry H. Kennedy, Jr., Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

Yanofsky earned her J.D. from the American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. and her B.A. from Barnard College at Columbia University in New York, N.Y.
