With nearly 30 years of experience, Dr. Mitra joins YourEncore from Procter & Gamble, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, Research & Development, Global Prestige, Beauty and Corporate Fragrances & Flavors. His strategies for disruptive innovation at P&G led to breakthrough products such as Crest Whitestrips, Crest ProHealth, Aleve Analgesic, Prilosec, Olay Regenerist Skin Care, Hugo Boss and Gucci Fragrances, Gillette and Old Spice Clinical Strength and cholesterol-lowering Metamucil.

Mitra received his undergraduate degree in biophysical chemistry from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology and his MS and Ph.D. degrees in life sciences from Columbia University. He was a Jane Coffin Research Fellow at Yale University, and holds more than 50 patents.
