The imaginative new books are part of Joyce’s two series for children and young adults. “The Sandman” is the second picture book in the luminous series for children of all ages called The Guardians of Childhood. “Toothiana” is the third book in the chapter books series called The Guardians designed for young adults. The two collections set the stage for Joyce’s upcoming DreamWorks animated feature film titled Rise of The Guardians, starring Chris Pine, Isla Fisher, Hugh Jackman, Alec Baldwin and Jude Law, in theaters November 11, 2012.
