Peregrine Midstream Partners Announces Open Season for Rockies Gas Storage Project

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ryckman Creek Resources, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Peregrine Midstream Partners LLC, will hold a non-binding Open Season for prospective customers interested in contracting for up to 8 Bcf of firm, high-deliverability, multi-cycle (HDMC) gas storage capacity beginning April 1, 2013 at the company’s new gas storage facility in Uinta County Wyoming near the Opal Hub. Ryckman Creek will accept bids for capacity from October 3, 2012 through 5 PM CST on November 2, 2012.

The Ryckman Creek storage facility has interconnections with five interstate pipelines, all of which are connected to the Opal Hub, including the Questar, Ruby, Kern River, Northwest and Overthrust pipelines. Combined meter capacity is in excess of 1 Bcfd. Receipts and deliveries with Cheyenne Plains, CIG, WIC and REX can also be scheduled through the Overthrust pipeline. All interconnections are currently operational except Ruby, which is scheduled to start service in mid-October. Maximum Phase I injection capability is 350 MMcfd with a maximum withdrawal capability of 480 MMcfd. Ryckman Creek was placed in service on August 20, 2012, and is currently accepting gas for parks.

Parties interested in requesting firm capacity at Ryckman Creek should submit a Non-Binding Bid Request Form during the Open Season. The facility will be subject to regulation under the Natural Gas Act with market based rates. Ryckman Creek Resources’ FERC submissions and certifications may be found through FERC’s website (www.ferc.gov) in the eLibrary tab at Docket No. PF10-18-000.
