LOS ANGELES--()--Betty White and her friends at The Lifeline Program adopted a sifaka at the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens in honor of Regis Philbin, who recently turned 81. Regis wrote to Betty, “I was so flattered you wished me a happy birthday and named me after this fine looking sifaka. He personifies Regis. He is Regis. And Regis is very happy to have him.”

Betty White said, “This adoption is a natural because both Regis and the sifaka personify grace and charm.”
