GENBAND Awards Ottawa Contract to Alternate Communications International

OTTAWA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ALTERNATE COMMUNICATION INTERNATIONAL (ACI), a global supplier of Network infrastructure servicing has announced that they have been awarded a major contract by GENBAND Inc. to relocate their flagship R&D Laboratory from its current Ottawa location to a new site in Kanata, ON. This project will take approximately one year to complete and involves decommissioning, tear-down, packaging, installation, testing and commissioning between 500 – 600 equipment bays of GENBAND leading edge IP and Telephony infrastructure equipment. This Laboratory replicates a Central Office (CO) environment and is a significant resource for the R&D activities of this best-of-class leader in IP infrastructure solutions.
