ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.--()--Crystal Clear Technologies, Inc., today announced that the U.S. Air Force (USAF) has approved a 24-month Mentor-Protégé relationship with SRA International, Inc., a leading provider of technology and strategic consulting services and solutions to government organizations.
“Crystal Clear Technologies is honored and excited to be accepted into the Air Force Mentor-Protégé program with SRA”
The Mentor-Protégé program encourages larger-business, prime contractors to provide mutually beneficial developmental assistance to small businesses. Crystal Clear Technologies is eligible to participate in the program as a woman-owned small business.
“SRA is thrilled to serve as mentor to Crystal Clear Technologies as part of the Air Force Small Business Mentor-Protégé program,” said SRA’s Vice President, Air Force Business Area Bill James. “This Air Force program is unique because it focuses on cyber security and information technology. SRA's role as mentor serves as a living example of our corporate desire to give back to others in our professional community and demonstrates that our ethic of Honesty and Service® is a key ingredient in the success of strong, developing businesses like Crystal Clear Technologies.”
Through the Mentor-Protégé program, the USAF expects to enhance its contracts, foster the establishment of long-term business relationships between the USAF, and its large and small contractors, while increasing prime and subcontracting opportunities. SRA will provide developmental assistance in various forms, including but not limited to cyber technology, process improvements and business development training.
“Crystal Clear Technologies is honored and excited to be accepted into the Air Force Mentor-Protégé program with SRA,” said CCT CEO Crystal Culberston. “We look forward to expanding our relationship with SRA to deliver advanced cyber security solutions to the Air Force. This is a wonderful opportunity for our company and our employees to enhance our offerings in the areas of technology transfer, business infrastructure and business development.”
Together, the companies will work to capture work, deliver and implement complex cyber security solutions for the Air Force and the Department of Defense (DOD).
The proposed mentor-protégé agreement will directly benefit the DOD and USAF by accelerating development of USAF capabilities by expanding the number of fully qualified cyber specialists dedicated to the AF mission. Nation-wide demand for cyber expertise is expected to grow significantly, raising the potential for longer implementation cycles due to limited availability of critical resources. The agreement will also aid in increasing the pool of available cyber talent, putting well-qualified experts in place more quickly.
