BOSTON--()--Nucleus Research released the H2 2012 Technology Value Matrix for Human Resources software, and added a new on-going Value Matrix that further segments out Human Capital Management solutions. The current reports show leading vendors providing more integration with ERP and back office systems, while adding mobile and social features. The reports were released at the HR Technology Conference in Chicago.
“We are seeing two approaches from vendors to integrate HR and HCM applications with other back office systems. One camp is leveraging the cloud to build new solutions from the ground up with new technologies. The other is adding new features to existing on-premise applications. There are advantages to both approaches, which are detailed in our Value Matrix reports,” said Gabriel Gheorghiu, principal analyst, Nucleus Research.
The leading vendors in the reports shared a vision for a more comprehensive solution that ties seamlessly into existing systems and even with third-party partner systems, while enabling more mobile access and increasingly adding social media features.
The reports also reflect results form consolidation in the industry leading to new players and enhances offerings.
Leaders in the HR Value Matrix include Ceridian Dayforce, Infor HCM, Kronos Workforce Central and Workday. In the HCM Value Matrix SAP SuccessFactors, Infor HCM, SumTotal HCM, Oracle Taleo, PeopleFluent, ADP Vantage HCM and Halogen Talent Management were in the leaders’ quadrant.
