NEW YORK--()--Digitude Innovations LLC (“Digitude”), an Altitude Capital Partner’s portfolio company, announced today that Time Warner Corporation has received a license to Digitude’s portfolio of digital media patents. Time Warner acquired its license through a previously negotiated sub-license from RPX Corporation.
Digitude owns the Shoah Portfolio, a substantial portfolio in the digital media space. The Shoah Portfolio includes eleven patented inventions that enable accessing, searching and cataloging of multimedia data. The Shoah Portfolio was acquired via an exclusive license by Preservation Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Digitude. The patents are owned by the USC Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education.
