PORTLAND, Ore.--()--A final call for entries is being sounded for an original oil painting contest held online by artists color maker M. Graham Co., with top winners receiving up to $1,000 in M. Graham oil colors.
To enter, artists residing in the U.S. or Canada submit a digital version of an original personal oil painting by October 31, 2012 for presentation on the M. Graham contest site and Facebook page. Winners will be selected by People’s Choice public vote that takes place in November, with winners announced in December.
The first place winner will receive M. Graham fine oil colors with a suggested retail value of $1,000, second prize is $750 in oil colors, and a third prize of colors with a retail value of $500.
M. Graham is a family-owned and operated company, producing hand-crafted professional artists color. Founded by artists and located in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, M. Graham makes color using traditional principles and methods passed on from a time when painters made their own materials.
M. Graham makes four types of solvent-free professional artists colors: Oil Color ground in walnut oil, Watercolor made with honey, Gouache for Fine Art, and High Solids Acrylic Color.
