Deltek Wins Prestigious CLO Learning In Practice Award from Chief Learning Officer Magazine

(Nasdaq: PROJ) today announced that its Vice President of Deltek University, Dan Carusi, has been awarded the Gold CLO Learning In Practice award in the Global Practitioner Category by Chief Learning Officer (CLO) magazine. Dan Carusi won the top award for his work leading Deltek University’s efforts to deliver an effective training and development curriculum for Deltek’s engineering team in Makati, Philippines.

The judges for the awards represent a number of significant national corporations. Deltek was chosen as a 2012 winner by CLO Magazine from a record number of entries this year.

Dan Carusi was awarded the Gold Global CLO Learning In Practice Award for his initiative to use Deltek University to deliver customized product training to the company’s engineering team in the Philippines. To drive greater understanding of Deltek’s products among Makati engineers, Mr. Carusi utilized Deltek University’s proven methodologies for delivering product training and increasing user adoption that are hallmarks of its offering for Deltek customers. Under his leadership, Deltek University developed a product learning portal and individual development plans and established a Junior Advisory Group. These learning techniques ensured that the company’s engineering teams in Makati had the most effective product training so they could excel at their mission of developing the world’s best enterprise software for project-based companies.
