BONN, Germany--(Simon-Kucher & Partners continues its steady growth and expects 2012 to be yet another record-breaking year. Q3 2012 revenue levels topped those of Q3 2011 by 24 percent to reach EUR 107.4 million (USD 140 million). To keep pace with its positive business development, the strategy and marketing consultancy has made significant additions to its workforce. 129 employees have been hired so far this year – two-thirds of them outside of Germany. The Simon-Kucher team now comprises 650 worldwide.
Tacke and Hilleke report that all industries and markets have contributed to the growth surge. Even amidst the euro crisis, business in Europe, especially in Germany, has made considerable headway in 2012. “The insecurity caused by widespread media reports of the crisis is being felt by very few of our clients, if any at all,” states Hilleke. Simon-Kucher generates approximately half of its revenue outside of its home market. The US, France and the UK are particularly key markets for business.
The consulting firm will continue to focus on growth and to systematically drive internationalization.
