Nationwide Financial Expanding Distribution of Alternative and Fee-Based Solutions

Consultative process helps advisors provide simpler solutions around preparing for and living in retirement

COLUMBUS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nationwide Financial announced today it is integrating its alternative and fee-based annuity solutions into the company’s traditional product offerings. The move will better align Nationwide’s product offerings with its team-based approach that puts advisors in touch with specialists across a broad range of client solutions.

Moving the distribution of America's marketFLEX^® Advisor Variable Annuity, marketFLEX II^® and Nationwide Income Architect^® Annuity from specialty products to core products will provide additional sales support and allow Nationwide Financial to grow within the fee-based market. It also provides broader support for advisors who need to address the diverse needs of their clients through solutions such as annuities, life insurance, mutual funds and retirement plans.

Nationwide Financial recently added funds to its marketFLEX products, designed to help advisors offer clients the protection of a variable annuity with the enhanced diversification provided by alternative investment options.
