McKinsey Development Up For Four International Stevie Awards

WARRENTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--McKinsey Development was named a top-three finalist in four categories in the 9th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business—two recognizing client campaigns and two honoring company executives for their roles in helping the organization prosper.

An integrated marketing effort for Blue Ridge Orthopaedic & Spine Center is a finalist in the Consumer Marketing Campaign of the Year category, and a video for Verdun Adventure Bound is a Video of the Year category finalist.

In addition to the client-focused awards, McKinsey Development team members Therese Crowther and Crystal McKinsey are finalists for awards given to businesses with 10 or less employees. Crowther, the company’s operations manager, is a finalist for Employee of the Year honors, while McKinsey, the company’s founder and CEO, is a finalist for Female Entrepreneur of the Year.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, and the companies they run – worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards. Each category finalist earns either a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Stevie Award.

Stevie finalists were chosen by more than 130 business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging. More than 90 members of the five final judging committees will determine the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging.

The presentations will be broadcast live across the U.S.A. by the Business TalkRadio Network, and videotaped for later posting on YouTube. Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the U.S.A. and several other countries are expected to attend. The Stevie Awards finalist nominations are the second major award recognition McKinsey Development has earned this fall. A video advertising campaign produced for Old Town Athletic Club is a top-two finalist for Video Advertising Campaign of the Year in the National Communications Technology Platinum Awards. The winner will be announced on October 17.
