Gladney Center for Adoption Announces Grand Opening of the Joan and Stanford Alexander Family Adoption Counseling Center

FORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Gladney Center for Adoption is proud to announce the Grand Opening of the Joan and Stanford Alexander Family Adoption Counseling Center. The new center houses all pre and post adoption counseling services inside Gladney’s Fort Worth headquarters.

This exciting new center is made possible through a generous endowment from the Alexander family. Funds from this endowment will provide support and counseling services to birth mothers, adoptive parents and adoptees. Funds are also allocated to support technology upgrades for Gladney’s adoption records management system. In addition, the endowment provides a post-adoption counselor to assist with serving the needs of birthparents after placement throughout their lifetime.

The new counseling center includes renovated counseling rooms, and a new post adoption private office suite for counseling, birthparent and adoptee reunions and secure records storage. One of the most important aspects of Gladney’s mission is providing compassionate, professional and dedicated counseling services to our clients during all stages of the adoption process. The Alexander family’s impactful gift allowed important modifications to be implemented and provide a safe, warm, beautiful and relaxing environment for our clients to receive the care and attention they are seeking.
