VP Nancy Gutzler to Discuss Coverage Issues

WASHINGTON--()--KCIC, a nationally recognized consulting firm, announced today that Nancy Gutzler, Vice President, will speak at ABA’s Women in Insurance Networking (WIN) Workshop to take place on October 18, 2012 in Washington, DC.

Gutzler will join other top experts to discuss hurdles in reaching the next layer of coverage using a “Chutes & Ladders” style approach to an insured’s coverage block. During their session, Gutzler and her co-panelists will address practical considerations relating to accessing excess coverage, including settlement credit issues, proving underlying exhaustion, how horizontal and vertical exhaustion come into play, and the implications of Qualcomm and Zeig like rulings. Her co-panelists are Laura Besvinick (Hogan Lovells US LLP), Regina DePumpo (The Travelers Companies, Inc.), Anna P. Engh (Covington & Burling LLP), and Rebecca Ross (Troutman Sanders LLP).
