ARLINGTON, Va.--()--The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® today released the 2013 edition of Five Technology Trends to Watch, an annual publication that examines five prominent technology trends expected to influence the consumer electronics (CE) industry in the years ahead. The report was released in conjunction with a panel discussion of the technologies held during CEA’s Industry Forum in San Francisco, CA.

Geared toward industry professionals, Five Techs provides in-depth analysis of each trend as well as market forecasts for the coming year. Each section also explores consumer perspectives, partnerships and key players. New this year, CEA’s analysts look back at the publication’s track record over the last 12 years to see where the analysts have hit the mark.
